High signal MRI: This finding in MRI of brain is non-specific.
Most of them are due to microvascular disease associated with high blood pressure and diabetes. Some due to old damage. 
Also can be seen in diseases such as multiple sclerosi.
Your doctor will decide if he or she should go further base on your sign and symptoms.

Maybe nonspecific: If you have migraine, such white matter lesions are usually posterior, and if you had head trauma, the location may be more anterior, but both head and neck trauma could cause some increased foci.  The demyelinating lesions of ms would be periventicular at right angles, but in the elderly such lesions might be c/w microvacular angiopathy, or even binwanger's.

Probably not, but: I presume these findings are a result of a CT or MRI scan of the brain.  In and of themselves, tiny spots may have no significance.  However the important thing is the clinical correlation by the physician who ordered the test.  this physician (perhaps a neurologist) should discuss these findings with you.

See below: It means you may have tiny lesions in white matter where nerve fibers extend away from nerve cells. The increased signals may indicate areas of injury due to ischemia (lack of oxygen) or other causes. They are too small and few in number to be significant. If you are worried, discuss your concerns with your Dr. You can change your diet, exercise regularly, manage stress and quit smoking if you do.
