today i started taking stabilanol (fluconazole) for my yeast infection. i take the pills orally, but im planning on having intercouse in a couple days and i was wondering if theres any chance that the medication will damage the condom?

: Up to 10% of vaginal yeast infections are caused by Candida glabrata or other non-albicans types, which are resistant to all "azole" drugs. Speak with your doctor about alternates such as nystatin or caspofungin (or other drugs of the same type). : They can safely be taken together, but almost certainly not necessary. Each is equally effective by itself against vaginal yeast infection.

Probiotics: Try taking probiotics, decreasing sugar intake, increasing good area circulation to your vaginal area (loose clothing, cotton underwear, sleeping without underwear at night), don't ever douche, don't use products near your genitals that have perfumes or deoderants in them. No talcum power there, either. Cornstarch is ok.

Maybe: Although there are no listed interactions between the two drugs, they both can cause problems with liver, bone marrow and muscle. Both can be dangerous to embryos and developing fetuses.  Short term use is certainly safer than chronic combined use.

See the doctor: The first question is why you are getting recurrent yeast infections. Diabetes, antibiotics and birth control pills may increase your risk of recurrences. Also be certain the diagnosis is correct. There are different causes of vaginal discharge and discomfort. A wet prep can help answer the question.
