Some studies have shown that the use ~200mg Fluconazole does not increase the risk of congenital abnormalities/other poor outcomes. If this is still concerning, please discuss use of topical antifungals like monistat/gyne-lotrimin 7 days therapy with your doctor would a another option. Good luck and take care.

BV 1st : She was probably recommending you take tinidazole first for BV then taking Fluconazole for  yeast.  The rationale is that antibiotics can cause yeast as a side effect.

: There are no significant interactions between alcohol and fluconazole so you can. But please note if something in your body is out of balance enough to need a medication, perhaps doing all you can to heal might be a good idea. Sleep well, rest, stay hydrated, avoid stress, avoid nicotine/alcohol. For yeast issues, taking a good probiotic can help too
