COVID 19 sx’s: dry cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, nasal congestion, fever, headache, sore throat, feeling tired, loss of sense of taste/smell, decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, chills &amp; muscle aches.

Treat symptoms: Most influenza or viral infections in children last 7-14 days and are treated symptomatically. For fever use Ibuprofen, Decongestant for nasal congestion and cough meds for cough. It is normal for them to feel tired and not want to eat. Give them lots of fluids and rest. If they develop difficulty breathing, unusual irritability, lethargy or dehydration, go to ER.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Relenza (zanamivir), tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate),  symmetrel (amantadine), Flumadine (rimantadine) are the only approved medication for influenza currently in the usa.

So i would not recommend "agifen" as i can't find any information on it.

Whatever they want: Most kids feel so crummy with the flu that they don't want to eat or drink anything. If they are hungry, that's a good sign! Give them what they want (within reason). I'd start with bland foods, especially if there was tummy-upset. No specific food will shorten the illness--only time &amp; love! And remember pushing fluids is far more important! Dehydration is a major cause of hospitalization from flu
