baloxavir marboxil ( Xofluza) would require a prescription from your doctor.

Persistent flu-like symptoms are likely caused by a problems with the immune system (immunodeficiency, rheumatological problem, or types of cancers).  A complete physical with testing of your body systems is necessary to determine the cause of these symptoms.

2-  cover your mouth when coughing/sneezing
3-  avoid touching your face
4-  avoid those who are ill
5- if you are ill, stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever subsides without using anti-fever medicines
6-  while sick, avoid others

Depends/ comfort: Tamiflu is approved for such kids but must be started in the first 48-72 hrs to have any benefit &amp; has many side effects that mimic flu symptoms. It can be helpful. Comfort measures that focus on maintaining fluid intake, rest &amp; basic nutrition are a must. Avoid aspirin products.

Depends on details: For Flu A or B, a doctor might prescribe Tamiflu if early in the illness. If it's a cold virus, there are no useful antivirals. Some people take extra vitamin C (may upset the stomach) and some take extra zinc (most lozenges have lots of sugar) but how much these things help is uncertain. Avoiding overexertion is wise. Anti-inflammatories like Tylenol or Motrin can help decrease aches and fevers.

i am taking meloxicam. can i take alka-sektzer plus cold and flu also while i am on this medication?

Medication: You are on Meloxicam it is an NSAId and the Almka seltzer has Aspirin.  These have similar side effects on stomach and platelets.  This could be concerning ,but for a dose or two unlikely problem.

FLU ?: Supportive rx no drugs as long as the baby is eating, he is fine. See md if not sure.
