Flu: You may still have some fevers for a few days after the flu. The skin sensitivity will improve with time. Look for colored drainage or discharge. That will signify a bacterial infection. Sometimes a viral infection  may turn into a bacterial one tht may need antibiotics. Contact your doctor if that happens. Take Motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) for a fever. Good luck.

i had the stomach flu on wednesday, it is tuesday of the next week and i still feel sensitivity in my stomach and i cant eat anything that isnt part of the brat diet without my stomach feeling queasy. is that normal?

: If you have diarrhea or fever you should seek medical attention.  However some decreased appetite and nausea may be usual.  Continue with bland diet, lots of fluids, and some yogurt with live cultures.

Need exam/swab: If you go to the doc, s/he can obtain a good ENT exam, including a tonsilar swab for a rapid Strep test. An acute EBV tonsillitis looks very similar with fever, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, lymphadenopathy &amp; white plaques on the tonsils. EBV can even cause right upper belly pain (acute viral hepatitis). Antibiotics will help a strep but not viral infection. Consider sugarless lozenges.

Yes: The new method of administration uses a very short needle. However there have been questions about the vaccine is delivered properly into the body with this needle. I would use more proven approaches until more information is available.
