Maybe nothing: A good history and physical may find the problem  like diveriticulitis , gastritis , a pulled muscle , strain  or hernia. Xrays , ultrasound and labs may be helpful.

i leaned over earlier and felt a bad popping/tearing sensatin in my abdomen area... just now i went to sit up and it did it again and i am burning up.

See a doctor!: Hi. I assure you I don't know what you have from the description, but if by "burning up" you mean high fever, my advice would be to see a doctor sooner than later! Things aren't supposed to tear in the abdomen! There are bacterial populations in several key abdominal/pelvic viscera, and depending on what (if anything) tore, you may have an infection. Good luck!

It shouldn't...: That's a leisurely pace and you shouldn't be stressing your torn abdominal muscles too severely.  The only thing that might make it more difficult is walking up or down an incline.  And you could always try to do one mile first...

Diffetent: A hernia is an actuall hole in the abdominal wall. This allows abdominal contents to pass through. Amuscle tear is a rip in the muscles without a defect in the abdominal wall.

"Pinched nerve"?: You may have what is commonly called a "pinched nerve" in your spine but there are a couple of other more serious problems in your abdomen that may be the reason for your complaint. I think it is essential to see your family physician ASAP.

Often uncomfortable: Pregnancy can be a very uncomfortable time for a lot of women especially if in the third trimester. Back, neck, hip and joint pain are quite common. There are a lot of physiologic changes going on inside to permit the growth of the baby. You should follow up with you  Obgyn to make sure the discomforts you are  feeling are normal.

Musculoskeletal: Sudden, extreme pain is almost always caused by muscle irritation. That's the good news. You likely pulled an abdominal muscle, and these, especially the obliques, can be very painful. Put ice on area first 2 days, then switch to heat if pain persists. Do some gentle stretching exercises and avoid heavy lifting. Can use Ibuprofen if pain hard to tolerate.

Doctor can evaluate: Lower abdominal pain can be from many things. For pain there, appendicitis is a concern (pain usually worsens over time, with fever coming on). If one is constipated for several days, stool can back up and cause discomfort or pain. Gallstones, gastroenteritis, or other problems can also cause pain. One's primary care doctor or the Emergency Room can evaluate, plus do a pregnancy test if needed.
