Deep cut on L index: How did you get the cut ? was a clean or with a dirty instrument? You mention it took place &gt; 1 month ago 
Did you had, a tetanus vaccination? is up to the bone medial or lateral ? did you take antibiotics.
Is the area red, ans swollen?
Numbness is the result sensory nerve injury, transection, or affected by infection. See the Dr, who did the suturing, nerve conduction may be required.

Stitches: stitches are usually left in anywhere from 10-14 days. Over a joint area they may be left in longer due to the movement of the skin.

Keep: covered and application of a a small amount of antibacterial ointment (or use of "medicated" bandages will promote healing and avoid infection!

Mgt: If the cut is open and not healing well,  then I would advise having it checked. There are steri strips which  can help to close the edges of the wound. Neosporin can be used after the area is cleaned gently to decrease healing time.

my finger was crushed and i lost a lot of my fingertip tthe doctor brought the side together to help it heal better by using stitches causing my finger to be deformed will it look normal after healing?

Sounds normal: Healing stitches can itch like crazy. ( I have personal experience with this). You might want to peek under the bandage and make sure you haven't developed a rash from the bacitracin or something else.

Yes: Where was the cut?  Median nerve is deep.  Superficial cut would not involve unless cut was on finger itself (wherein nerve would be a digital branch of median nerve, not the median nerve itself).  In any event, need evaluation since nerves are important.  Check carefully if both sides of the finger are involved on only one side.  Report to your doctor.  (If image: not included by me.)

Accepted Answer

Cuts bleeding: It depends on the length and depth of the laceration.  First aid includes ice, elevation and compression for a minimum if 7-10" so that your body has the chance to clot whatever is bleeding. Do not check and recheck during those minutes as it stops the pressure. If it bleeds despite the above measures, then you should seek medical care. Also go if numbness, deep cut or later red, weeping wound.

Redness or drainage: If there is significant redness, drainage or the pain seems to be getting worse, see your surgeon to determine if the sutures are infected.

Depends: Depends on location. I would have a hand surgeon check it out.
