Bleeding: The main purpose of stitches is to stop bleeding and secondarily to approximate tissue to heal and avoid infection.   Most wounds will heal on thir own. Will they leave a scar or become infected depends on the specifics of the wound.

Carpal tunnel: It certainly could be carpal tunnel syndrome, a pinched nerve in your wrist which makes your fingers go numb. See a hand surgeon for an examination and treatment.

Finger injury: Keeping the area clean and protected as you are doing is very important. With extensive skin injury I recommend an evaluation by a hand surgeon to validate your status and treatment.

Finger spots: hello~ these are probably tiny traumatic petechiae and due to a small amount of bleeding into the finger pads. As such they contain blood and if you try to pick them off they will bleed. I would leave them alone and wait till they go away with time thanks

i have an extremely bad habit. i pick the pads of my fingers or my lips. i've been doing this for years and can't break the habit. how do i stop this?

Looks like you: Have been diagnosed with anxiety ; receive fluoxetine ; behavior therapy. Don't know which form of behavioral therapy - but cognitive behavioral therapy can prove helpful for compulsive behaviors. Do you have a psychiatrist? If so, is that provider aware of this on-going behavior?  Sometimes a change in medication dose or type can be  helpful.

No: Scleroderma causes a tightness of skin. With the onset of scleroderma, there may be an initial puffiness of the fingers which is the opposite of what you described. Exposure to cold, weight loss, and dehydration can cause wrinkling of the fingers.

Burns: I would put the burnt fingers in ice for as long as he can tolerate tonight....And to take Ibuprofen or aleve (naproxen).  He probably does not need to go to the er but may want to see the family doctor on monday.

Uncomplicated: superficial tears or lacerations or abrasion do no usually leave scars
