Skin particles: These can be evaluated by an emergency room physician or by a surgeon. Sometimes, after assessment, such particles are treated only with warm salt water soaks and nature slowly excretes them.

feeling numbness in my fingers on holding my cell phone or on sleeping on my hand after a short period of time. what could it be?

Numbness: Have you ever had the sensation of your foot "falling asleep" if you are sitting very still in a chair without moving? Same thing. If you cut off the blood supply to the nerve it sends out a tingly feeling.  If you move around slightly and the circulation returns the feeling of normality returns.

occasionally i get numbness in my left pinkie and ringer fingers it usually occurs when holding my cell phone. numbness last minutes should i worry?

Ulnar Nerve: you are putting pressure on your ulnar nerve. At this point since it is going away there is no need to be concerned.  However, it would be a good idea to avoid those positions as at some point you may cause enough damage for it to stay numb. Take this from a guy who had surgery on one elbow 3 weeks ago and is having surgery on the other in 6 days for this very problem.

what would cause the tips of my thumb and every finger on my right hand to go numb, within 3-4 minutes when holding my cell phone in that hand.

Vague: A thorough history, duration, length of time with the numbness, activities, prior health concerns- hard to say.  I would call a Dr. and be checked- carpal tunnel syndrome, pinched nerve, other???

i probably had some minor cuts/ bruises around my fingers from doing my everyday cleaning etc when i dipped my hand into a full, bio hazardous waste bin to retrieve my cell phone that fell in. can hiv be contracted that way? i have crippling anxiety?

: For sure zero risk of HIV, which is not transmitted by contact with human waste or other exposure to the virus other than by sex or shared drug injection equipment. The main risk from something like this is probably for various intestinal bacteria and viruses, that these are completely prevented by simple hand washing after the exposure. Do not get tested for HIV.

Well not likely with: Not likely with your scenario. But a bruise seems much more likely. See how the digit feels if issue persists then to the doctor you go for exam

Use it less: While there's no good evidence that the radiation from cell phones is harmful to anyone, if you want to reduce your exposure just use your cell phone less, or get a hands-free headset. Keep in mind that the big danger from cell phones has nothing to do with radiation-- it's driving while talking and texting. Adults and children are routinely killed by distracted drivers.

Nickel alleregy: There have been numerous recent reports about the new the recent i-phone cases containing nickel and people who are allergic to nickel having various rashes because of it. If this is the type of cell phone you have, they suggested putting it in some type of plastic carrying case to reduce exposure to the nickel and see if that helps. New technology, new problems!

They're not: If there were a cancer risk to those living nearby, the people who spend their lives working on the towers themselves would be getting sick. If this was happening, the unions would know.  They're not getting sick. This is just one more foolish scare story made up by cynical people who want you to worry -- and worrying itself can make you sick.

None: There are no diseases caused by overuse of cell phones that we now know of. And, I am unclear as to what you mean by "addiction." the word addiction would refer to problems caused by overdoing certain behaviors, like drinking, taking drugs, eating too much, etc. If a person has tried to decrease such behaviors and is unsuccessful, he or she should seek help from a professional.
