Excercise : I personally like to do something physical like excercise - go for a run or a walk, lift weights, stretch, massage. This can help me reconnect my mind to m y body and quiet down some of my stress. Meditation is also a good stress reliever. Any activity that increases abdominal breathing (like yoga, sleep, relaxation techniques) are useful.

If it's laden on earlier childhood experiences, longer work is needed.  Sometimes psychiatric medicines can help too; evaluation 1st, tho'.

Before you get on the plane take a couple of minutes to think about things or places that always make you happy. Concentrate on the details. Once on the plane, get comfortable in your seat, close your eyes, and go back to those thoughts and details.
