If it is truly an "isolated" fracture, patients can gradually increase their weight bearing as tile rated and are usually doing well by about 6-8 weeks.  Discuss your specific case with your doctor.

No: Most likely not.  Numbness is most likely due to involvement of the infraorbital nerve, which provides sensation to the front part of your cheek.  Depending on when your injury took place, will most likely resolve with tincture of time, though some folks will always have some area of numbness.
