Yes: Sound like fibro. You also have Sicca and not Sjogren's. Sicca is dryness as you describe and you have that too.

Need to examine: If the specialists who examined you were not able to provide a satisfactory answer, it would be impractical for doctors on this forum to do so. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Wish you good health.

Problems: All of the problems you discussed are readily treatable. The RA, Osteoarthritis, and Fibromyalgia by a specialist Rheumatologist. The bacterial tooth &amp; gum infections, the halitosis, &amp; the Thrush by a General Dentist &amp; possibly a Periodontist. You can't do this yourself. Go get competent health care.

Dental vs non dental: Fibromyalgia certainly can cause head and neck pain.  Pain on one side can also be from a dental problem.  You need to see a dentist for a proper examination and diagnosis.  There is no proper way to do that without an exam and possibly xrays.

Need to know more da: We can consider  the dry mouth  can also occur in many people with fibromyalgia. Are your  Sjogren's  blood  tests  norma? What is the data  for B-12 deficiency? Is your vitamin D deficiency corrected? Have you seen a rheuamtologist. These are things  you can discuss  with your physician.

Apthtous ulcer : If it has not been there long, it is probably and ulcer.  You can rinse with equal parts maalox (stomach meds) chloroseptic sore throat spray and liquid benedryl.  This will dry out the ulcer and coat it to relieve pain.  If the ulcer does not improve a little each day contact your dentist.

my esr and crp levels are high. i have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and also have raynauds, ulcers in mouth, sleep disturbances. could it be lupus?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Don't accept the diagnosis of fibromylalgia if the crpand ESR are high, especially with those other symptoms.  See a rheumatologist and get this figured out quickly so you can get started on an appropriate treatment.  Many doctors may disagree with me on this (i await the comments...) but i rarely use term "fibromylagia", and only then when all rheumatological testing is negative.
