after a hard digest hard poops & large. stomach hurts from pushing it out. anything i should do after?  i barely exercise or eat fiber/vitamins

Do that - and more..: Exercising regularly, eating a diet high in vegetables and fruits, along with adequate hydration with water, can go a long way to improving regulation and consistency of bowel movements.  However, if this is a chronic problem, please see your doctor for a complete evaluation and recommendations.  Also get clearance from doctor before starting an exercise regimen.  Hope this helps. Stomach problems: My first concern would be to see if your son is lactose intolerant. Try him on lactose free milk.

Yes 8 yr can have: Yes 8 yr old can have gall stones , bur rare, the pain may be due acute  gallbladder attachs, take him for exam and sono to see any evidence acute chole. ( then may require surgery ).

Processed foods: processed foods in general are low in fiber. Read the labels, where as fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, legumes and whole grains are high in fiber. So, white rice is low in fiber compared to brown rice. Dairy, meat, chicken and fish are absent in fiber. Best of health to you.

What's the question?: It's good you don't smoke.
Only one meal a day with little fiber does not sound like a good idea, but it's not so bad that it would cause serious problems for a brief time. I have no idea why you are living this way, but the beat in your tummy might be hunger pangs or constipation. Try a more normal diet pattern - drink water. Take care.

Fiber taken without : If your body is not used to it and you take excess of fiber containg food and/or you do not drink enough water it can cause bloating sensation and which is due to gas in your abdomen.

i have been having stomach issues for about 2 years. endoscopy came back normal. only thing that seems to help is insoluble fiber but soluble fiber makes things a lot worse. what other tests or things should i try?

No tests: If insoluble fiber helps, take that. there is not need for more tests.
