Many possibilities: Your symptoms are suggestive of an infectious or other process. It is impossible to make a diagnosis without more info. I think you should have a full exam. Your pcp is a good start.

? Viral illness?: This could be a viral upper respiratory infection. If you had influenza you would probably feel like road kill. Bed rest, hydration, acetominophen or nsaids - taken it slow . Seek medical care if sxs aren't resolving or for fever over 104. Take care.

Many choices: There are many viruses that can cause your symptoms.  Make sure you keep hydrated and rest, and if not better, see your doctor.

URI symptoms: At 24 weeks pregnant with twins, if you do not have a regular OB physician, or if he/she is unavailable, go to the ED and they will notify the OB physician on call.

Sounds like a cold: A cold or maybe the flu ...
Tylenol for fever and headache, a laxative for the constipation ... If your fever is over 101, do see a doctor tomorrow.
Don't go to work ... Stay warm .., lots of fluids ... If you have shaking chills, that is a serious symptom of a viral (or bacterial) infection ... Your doctor can take cultures and make a diagnosis.

No specific tx.: Rest, hydrate, quarantine &amp; eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

Accepted Answer

Symptom relief: If you have a significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see your medical provider & get a streph throat test & culture. Saltwater gargles are very helpful. Mix a teaspoon of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle with this several times a day. You can gargle with aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mixture of chamomile tea with honey & a small amount of lemon juice is good.

this morning i have been confirmed covid-19 positive. 
i have light symptoms (37,4 celcius fever, small head ache and some muscle pain).
my issue is that i have been using unprescribed steroids and hgh since 3 weeks. what should i do now?

: It is more detrimental to stop steroids and hGH suddenly, then to continue them. Monitor your symptoms and if you develop difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, confusion or lethargy, contact your Dr immediately.
