Sick: Sore throat with fever and generalized body aching - would be best to get a strepth throat test/ see medical.  Consider tylenol (acetaminophen) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications.
Saltwater gargles: mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day. Or gargle with aloe vera juice twice a day.  Add honey & a small amt. Of lemon juice to chamomile tea.
 Hydrate well.

Unclear: Your symptoms sounds rather general... Not very specific. If this is a new issue, sounds like a "cold/flu" type process. 

If it's getting worse, or has been going one for more than 7-10 days, would be reasonable to visit your primary care md or local urgent care clinic.

Dr. can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). A couple days of throat lozenges and tylenol (acetaminophen) can decrease throat pain.

Viral infection? : Your symptoms are consistent with a viral infection.  Use acetamenifen or Ibuprofen for fever or aches and keep well hydrated. Let your body's immune system do the rest.  If your symptoms persist for more than a week, have your doctor check you.  If fever  occurs let your doctor know.

Possibly viral: These symptoms are consistent with a viral syndrome which could include influenza. Initially rest, plenty of fluids and tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen( if not allergic) should help, however if this is the flu you might need to be seen to get medication for that. Other possibilities are bacterial infections, pneumonia. In a female of your age if you are sexually active it would be good to check for pregnancy.

May or may not be: The way i treat people is if in doubt and there's no real big detriment to treatment, and most of all if that person benefits from a treatment, i would treat it. Of course, if you go to the er or urgent care, they may be able to do a quick test for the flu and tell you.

Mgt: It may be the flu caused by influenza virus, or another respiratory viral illness. It is important to rest, stay well hydrated and to monitor your temperature. Tamiflu (oseltamivir) is available to treat influenza.
It is not uncommon to have muscular chest pain with coughing, but if you have any respiratory distress, please go to the ED.
Most viral illnesses improve in a few days.
