Good : Good morning. I can't diagnose the cause of your lightheadedness.  There can be a variety of different causes for this. Thus, there isn't a way to be able to tell you if it is due to your period.  Things like feeling shaky, sweaty hands and lightheaded can be related to anxiey. I suggest that you hydrate well with water  at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day, to ensure that you are not feeling dizzy due to dehydration. I would try not to let your fears get the best of you. If you do, you may make yourself progressively more anxious which could lead to more anxiety symptoms. I.E., it can become a vicious cycle. 
   If you feel lightheaded and it feels like the room is spinning around you or seems to be tilting that could be vertigo. If you are lightheaded and have a low grade fever or congestion that could be a virus starting up. 
   Currently, you are describing mild, non-specific symptoms. There does not sound like a definitive reason to seek medical care at this point. However, should your symptoms not resolve and worsen, it would be worth a call to your doctor. Take care.

: If possible, obtain an echocardiogram with measurement of global longitudinal strain. If the GLS is normal it rules out diastolic dysfunction. If you don't have predisposition to diastolic dysfunction, which for all intents &amp; purposes in your case boils down to hypertension or infiltrative disease of the myocardium, your echo diagnosis of DD is probably erroneous. Discuss with your cardiologist.

: It is abnormal because you are symptomatic. Etiology of grade 2 diastolic dysfunction needs to be defined for appropriate care. You need to follow a cardiologist.

headache & neck ache. feeling of lightheadedness & a bit dizzy. head feels like an overwhelming whooshing type sensation comes over it every few minutes. 32 female, had a ct of brain june 2021 & mri june 2021. no abnormalities. any ideas what this is?

: You may be dehydrated. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. If that does not resolve the matter in a week or two, it would be prudent to consult a neurologist.

Low blood to brain.: Light-headedness is usually caused by a decrease in blood flow to the brain. This can occur with position changes, such as standing up suddenly. It can also occur if blood counts are low, such as in anemia. Sometimes irregular heart beats can cause similar symptoms. Discuss your situation with your doctor.
