Vasculitis: Sounds like  reynauds phenomenon !  there may be color changes that you notice,  as well ?  You would be well served by sharing this problem with your pcp or vascular specialist or endocrinologist.

Yes: Yes.  Nerves emerging from the low part of the spinal cord go to the leg.  If one of those nerves is impaired (either as it leaves the spine or further down in its journey) that can cause the symptom.  Also, some peripheral neuropathies (e.g. diabetes) may present unilaterally at first.  See a doctor.

I think it is: reasonable for you to first exclude infection such as fungus. The odor makes one suspicious...you may need to visit a dermatologist to obtain a scraping or culture. : Please see your doctor in person for this. You need a full examination and probably some lab testing to diagnose the underlying problem for these symptoms. They can also ask you more questions to get more detail on this, such as how long everything lasts, what you are doing when standing and other medical history. Big toe pain: History of gout? Draw blood and check  for uric acid levels.  If elevated then gout is a more definitive diagnosis.  Any history of unusual activity , exercise or  different shoe wear?  Gout effects joints, if joints not involved then possible overuse syndrome.  Rec rest, ice, compression and elevation.  If continues without resolve get it checked out.
