can i drink alcohol(a can of beer) after 2 days of 2nd pfizer covid shot?? i feel okay so far no fever no cold no flu like symptom?

: It's not likely that just 1 can of beer after 2 days of your 2nd Pfizer Covid shot will cause a problem. But too much alcohol can be dangerous. The CDC recommends that to lower the risk of alcohol-related harms "adults of legal drinking age can choose not to drink, or to drink in moderation by limiting intake to 2 drinks or less in a day for men or 1 drink or less in a day for women". Be well!

Flu: The test Is not. 100% accurate. I would treat it as flu. Take 2 extra strength Tylinol every 4 hours , Push fluids and rest. The symptoms should gradually disappear but if not see physician again

Depends on location: Depending on where you live and what you are exposed to on a daily basis, you at greater or lesser risk for certain viral illnesses that tend to migrate across geographic areas. Sounds like you has a moderate viral illness. Probably will never know exactly what virus it was -- and that usually doesn't matter. Certain infections do have seasonality.

Flu: From the CDC: Most healthy adults may be able to infect other people beginning 1 day before symptoms develop and up to 5 to 7 days after becoming sick. Children may pass the virus for longer than 7 days. Symptoms start 1 to 4 days after the virus enters the body.

my son 6 months, refuse to eat/drink. he does take some food, not as much as he usually does. no fever, flu or any other symptoms. is this normal?

Appetite can vary: from meal to meal with infants this age, but usually there is some cause if appetite is reduced for more than 1-2 days.  Check mouth for swollen gums from teething or a coated tongue could be  thrush.   Many viruses start with a sore throat and then lead to nasal congestion or cough in 24 hours.  Stomach flu can cause nausea but diarrhea may be delayed.  Get evaluation of more than 2-3 days.

Skin vs Core: Your skin temp may be increased due to shunting if blood from your core to your skin. It's the body's way of regulating temp. Skin is like a radiator. It's hot to dissipate the heat your body doesn't want. Your temp is normal because it's working.

See below: Flu is usually accompanied by fever. Children often get hand, foot, & mouth disease caused by coxsackie a virus (characterized by blisters on hands, feet, & in mouth). Adults rarely get this form but may get type b of the virus that causes muscle aches (especially of chest wall), ± headache, ± fever; called devil's grippe or pleurodynia. Treat with nsaids & moist heat to muscles. Lasts about a wk.
