Gastroenteritis.: This sounds like acute gastroenteritis - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pains, fever, chills and sweats are all possible components of this.  Could be viral or food-borne, perhaps something you ate last night that may have been undercooked or mishandled.  Typically lasts 3-5 days.  If it gets much worse, or if it lasts longer than that, see a doctor.

If u are: A female, it may be related to changes just prior to menses.  Otherwise it could be a sensation without a good medical explanation.

i tried to apply heat to my belly to relieve spasms in my intestines, but i felt sudden pull inside my abdomen, upper right quadrant. now this pulling feeling under my right ribcage remains until i apply cold pads and my body cools down. every time. ?

How long?: How long has this been going on? Do you have IBS or another GI condition? Any other symptoms like a change in stool shape, frequency or consistency? A lot of times, tincture of time is best in that either it'll go away on its own or another symptom will occur to make it easier to diagnose. Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the abdomen:  stomach, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, appendix, large intestine, abdominal muscles, kidneys, etc...  An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. One's doctor can look for the pulsing location. Lower than the intestines are one's bladder, uterus, ovaries, and tubes... meaning an exam from the vagina and rectum can help find the cause.

It could be: Any number of things, liver/gallbladder problem being one of them.  See a doctor for blood tests and possible imaging with ultrasound if you are worried.  If pain is relieved by heat, it is more likely a muscle spasm, but you can't be sure.

Nerve related?: Odd sensations on the body or limbs, especially ones that change with changing positions of the head, neck, or the rest of the spine, can be related to compression on some of the nerves coming out of the spinal cord. Such sensations also radiate along the areas covered by the affected nerves. A primary care doctor, neurologist, or pm&r (physical medicine or physiatry) doctor can sort things out.

No: Do not put a heating pad on a pregnant belly. You may heat the baby up too much. You can use a heating pad on the neck, shoulders, back and limbs while pregnant.

Heating pad: Have something like a towel under it, between your skin and the heating pad but yes you can use one.

No: No, but it can cause a severe burn to your skin.
