i have been diagnosed with ibs, a fissure and now an infection, it feels like in sitting on a ball, is this part of the infection?

More likely: you also have HEMORRHOIDS most likely from either DIARRHEA (IBS-D) or CONSTIPATION (IBS-C) In either case ask the Gastroenterologist who diagnosed the IBS!!

i have l.abdominal pain more to the left 
when i sit it feels like i'm sitting on a ball by my anus
how ever there was blood in my urin, and still have l.back ache there is a slight burn when i urinate still. urinate test came back clear ?

More workup: Hi, there are a still few diagnoses to consider here, even with the "clear" urine test. I would recommend that you continue the discussion and work up with your doctor. Burning sensations with urination, combined with other symptoms can still be suggestive of a urinary tract infection, please don't put this off and follow up as soon as you can. Hope this helps

what are the benefits of sitting on a swiss ball while working?

Core muscle control: And activation are two of the rationales behind this activity. The idea is that while sitting on the ball you must maintain your balance by activating core muscles. It also requires you to utilize your lower extremites more while sitting.  Some may suggest it is a "mini" pilates activity.

Multiple reasons: A common complaint of patients with plantar fasciitis is morning pain when first stepping out of the bed.  Arthritis pain can also be worse before getting "stretched" out in the morning.  A long list of other things cause foot pain.

Callus: A flat piece of hard skin is a callus on the bottom of the foot. These are often diagnosed as a corn because they are similar. These can be very painful. I would go visit my favorite podiatrist for an exam.

Back ; leg pain: James, this may be a pinched nerve in your lumbar spine. The cause is most likly a damaged disc. Please get a proper examination and evaluation. In the mean time, please do not lift heavy items. Also when you are sitting, it is more harmful to lean forward causing more disc damage. Prolonged sitting is unadvisable. Avoid bending forward such as in tying shoe laces, picking up objects etc. Good luc.
