when i stand up, i can feel a pulse in my head kinda like a wob wob wob sound. i am on hypertension medication, but is this a dangerous sign?

Maybe/maybe not: Your blood pressure rises when you stand up..this is normal. So it sounds like you are sensing a pulsation when your blood pressure rises. This probably means your medication is not perfectly controlling your blood pressure.  Depending on where the "wob, wob" feels, it could be related to a bruit, or sound of blood going through a narrowed blood vessel.  You need to discuss all this with your doc!

been having right shoulder and neck pain along with a tickle deep in my throat causing a dry cough. bending over i can feel a pulse in my neck & head?

Uncertain could be: Uncertain where it comes  from. Consider  neck evaluation to see if there is nerve  compression. The throat irritation could be vagus  nerve  compression. The  pulse  could be from the neck to the inner ear . You will need an evaluation, history and physical, studies of the neck and the brain depending on what your evaluation shows. There may be a simple solution but  will depend on you data.

Can be: A pulsating artery may be felt in a superficial artery in the temple or in front of the ear. If the pulsation is very strong it is recommended that you have a physician evaluate the artery and check for elevated blood pressure.

what causes hearing a heartbeat/pulse rate in your head and ears? its more present when you are walking about or in a quiet place? i currently have a prolonged period which i am treating can that be the cause?

: If the sensation is a steady beat you're experiencing pulsatile tinnitus. It's usually not a serious issue but sometimes it's associated with high blood pressure or increased pressure within the brain. If it doesn't resolve after a prolonged and/or heavy period, I recommend having an evaluation&amp; being advised by an ENT specialist &amp; having your blood pressure checked. Also get checked for anemia.

had 5 sharp sting quickly in back of head above bone on skull. could feel a pulse when i touch it & other side of head too. worried about stroke im18?

Not stroke: Pl relax, as stroke symptoms are quite different including numbness, tinglings, light headedness and inability to mover certain parts of body. You may have some cellulitis or local inflammation over scalp which needs to be checked by your doctor or urgent care.

There are a number: small arteries and veins that course through the area of the ear canal and may be close to the surface of the skin. It would not be unreasonable for you to be able to feel these. This is normal.
