Get hard-core: I trust hepatitis c and wilson's have been ruled out (wilson's is tricky). If you exercise really hard and diet really seriously, you're going to lose weight and get buffed. This is the best thing for your liver, and a wonderful gift for yourself as well. Your physician can advise you about medicine, and there are some natural / holistic remedies worth investigating.

no approved medicati: If you have been diagnosed with steatohepatitis [ fatty liver causing elevated liver enzymes] and you are thin, there is no current approved medication available.

Liver enzymes : Increases in liver enzymes are often from fatty as a consequence of overeating,  high triglycerides or cholesterol, or excessive alcohol intake. There are other reasons for increased liver enzymes such as viruses, medications, or other diseases. Most likely you are overweight and have a very high-calorie intake. Please speak to your doctor.

You should be fine: As long as your green tea is not sweetened with sugar and you are taking your medications with water you should be fine. Remember, moderation is key to everything in life. 3 cups is ok but depends on your cup size. The cup volume should be no more than 4-6 fluid ounces or 120 - 170 ml.  Also remember to drink plenty of water daily and Monitor your blood sugar regularly. Take care!

2 issues: alcohol and cholesterol: abstain from all alcoholic beverages and have your blood tested fro cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and HDL/total cholesterol ratio, Exercise daily and add fiber to your diet. Repeat blood tests in 3 months.

Ursodiol: There are only small studies that have been done in regards to ursodiol's effectiveness in treating fatty liver disease.  I am not sure which type of fatty liver disease you have, since there are 2 types.  There are positive results in reduction of fatty liver and some improvement of liver enzymes. Stay on board with your provider and make sure you are maintaining a low fat, well balanced diet.

Fatty liver: Yes, fatty liver can affect drug efficacy.
If that is happening you need to see your gastroenterologist again.

Not every patient with fatty liver will respond well to the same medication but it is hard to know that before any medication is prescribed.
