See below.: You cannot be allergic to alcohol - that is impossible. You can only be allergic to things that have proteins. Alcohol chemically has no proteins. You may be sensitive to alcohol. For example, it may give you heart burn. If that is the case, Pepcid (famotidine) may help but i would not advise that. Rather, i'd advise not using alcohol at all or limiting the amount and frequency so it doesn't affect you longer.

No: it antagonizes H2 receptors in the stomach, thas helping decrease acid production, though an antihistaminic, but doesn't help the itch, H1 blockers, as diphenhydramine do help against the itching

: Supplements like this are not tested by the FDA&amp; all bets are off about presence of contaminants, proper dosing,interactions with prescription medications or claims of efficacy. Despite all this, I doubt it would affect your A fib, famotidine, Benadryl or metoprolol significantly, but I'd also check with your pharmacist who may have more information about chlorophyll. It's simpler to eat veggies.

i had a ct of the abdomen with iv contrast 12 years ago and didnt have any allergic reaction to the dye then. is it safe to say i will tolerate it well now getting one 12 years later? no known allergies, just seasonal. on daily pepcid & zyrtec?

: You shouldn't have a problem. The reaction would be expected the first &amp; every time if your system was sensitive to it. We never say never, but chances of a problem are minimal. The radiologist would generally plan ahead and always be ready for a reaction anyway.

Safe: Pepcid (famotidine) is used in newborns in levels higher than would be found in breastmilk.  It is safe.  Claritin (loratadine)  an antihistamine might alter breast milk flow.  Consider instead using nasal steroid or nasal cromolyn (both over the counter). Both are safe with breastfeeding.

i took tylenol extra strength and zyrtec this morning due to allergies. had some inflammation so i switched to asprin and am now taking pepcid ac for acid reflux. just curious if it is okay to take all of these in the same day for my issues today?

Gastroduodenal ulcer: Not necessarily cancer. Need to get tested for h pylori + peptic ulcer and get on antibiotics for 2 weeks is you have this.  Neuroendocrine tumor such as zes is also possible after this much acid suppression for this long. You need an upper endoscopy and internal med/gi eval.

can stopping pepcid (famotidine) cause rebound gerd? is there a way to find the source of gerd

Avoid triggers : Several things can exacerbate your symptoms and you need to figure out your triggers. Some triggers for gerd are eating too quickly, eating late at night, foods that are spicy, fried or tomato base,  eating chocolate or mint or caffeine products. If no improvement, you should follow with your doctor or a gastroenterologist.
