No: Many say that the child wets the bed because they are sleeping too soundly to get up. However if the child is actually sleeping soundly, the kidneys and bladder are turned off and there will be no reason to urinate. Often they are actually not sleeping soundly and awaken. They fall back to sleep but being awake for that short period, wakes up the kidneys and bladder and they wet the bed.

is if safe to deliver a child vaginally after having a fissurectomy + lateral internal sphincterotomy (lis)? i'm a 24 y/o female and i got the surgery when i was 20. i am afraid of the incontinence risk of having multiple children after lis?

: There is no contraindication of vaginal childbirth with history of lateral internal sphincterectomy.  Naturally, risk of incontinence is higher with multiple vaginal deliveries but routine pelvic exercise can alleviate the risk.

Damaged muscles: Childbirth can be traumatic to the muscles and nerves surrounding the bladder, vagina and rectum. The nerves can be damaged and small tears in the muscles can lead to prolapse and incontinence is some women. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. It is common and fixable.

There are lots of potential issues here--including dysmotility, pelvic floor dysfunction, proctitis (infectious, inflammatory bowel), behavioral (not uncommon), non-gi related (gynecologic, urologic, neurologic). The : The dark urine should not be related to the hiatal hernia or prescription drugs.  Dark urine for four months should be evaluated.  It could be related to a liver or a kidney issue, so seeing a physician would be a reasonable next step.
