Labs for arthritis: Are not black versus white or positive versus negative but are a guide to help make a diagnosis sure certain things like ra positive or more obvious but there are many things that are collections of partial values or markers are used to indicate extent of disease having a slightly positive ETA does not mean you have a systemic problem it just means that that protein is found in your system

Not that I'm aware: Amyl nitrate, not to be confused with amyl nitrite which is used medicinally to relax blood vessels (and also recreationally as "poppers") is most likely toxic to humans. While it's used as reagent in industrial chemical synthesis and as an additive to diesel fuel, i can find no evidence for its use in medicine for Hemophilia, hepatitis C or other disorders.

Q: i have a positive ana result, dual pattern, speckled 1:80, and homogeneous 1:80...and low vitamin d. my rheum factor is 9. should i be worried?

Need more info: So for any diagnosis of autoimmune disease (such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis), lab tests are actually not very helpful. Symptoms drive our decision on whether you need to be treated. These lab tests in a vacuum are not concerning. The low vitamin d can be easily treated by your md.

Q: cholesterol 174, triglycerides 68, hdl ch 45.00, ldl direct 80.00, vldl 14, hdl risk factor 3.9, crp 0.53, homocysteine 8.6 with no diabetes. good?

Good: Numbers look good, continue healthy diet and excercise to keep them at ideal level.

Q: can a nine month old eat strawberrries?

Sure: You can start introducing berries from 6 months of age but be sure to only give one new food every three days. If you notice a rash, itchiness, or other symptoms it might be a sign of a food allergy. Strawberries should be cut up into small pieces so that there is less of a choking hazard. Depends on ur height: This really depends on your height and your overall health as well as your position on the growth curve. Many will use your bmi (see diagram) as the guide. Meet with your pediatrician to discuss an appropriate weight and strategies to deal with it.

Q: what should i feed my nine to twelve month old baby?

Finger foods: Your nine month old may be interested in finger foods at this point. Foods that you eat are often more interesting than jar foods. Avoid chocolate and egg white until a year. Appetite will vary day to day as growth slows a little. Continue massaging the gums with a soft cloth or brush as teeth erupt. Don't let baby fall asleep with a bottle or tooth decay will soon follow.

Q: had my turp nine days ago. how long will my recovery be?

TURP: 2-3 weeks before heavy lifting should be done. Especially if it was done the old fasion way with cautery. It is typical to see blood in the urine for 3-4 weeks after.

You are normal :): Your rheumatoid factor is in the normal range according to the laboratory. This is the normal range for ANY adult, not just your age. Since you have a normal level, you DO NOT need to lower this number because you are NORMAL. You do not need to check this test in the future unless you get unusual joint symptoms. If you have any concerns about symptoms, then you should see your primary care doctor.
