See a neurologist: or Orofacial Pain specialist. Most causes of orofacial pain are benign and harmless. However, if you have facial pain with eye twitching that seems to come without any known cause (e.g. trauma), call your doctor for evaluation and referral to a neurologist or OFP.

Myokymia?: Random twitching of an eyelid or another small facial muscle, which happens in normal people, is called myokymia (an involuntary, spontaneous, quivering of a few muscle cell bundles within a muscle). Myokymia starts and stops spontaneously. It can last a few minutes to a few days. One should see a doctor if such symptoms persist, keep recurring, or are combined with any other symptoms.

Blepharospasm: Possibly could be hemifacial spasm, a neuromuscular disorder that is treated with Botox injections or surgery.  The best person to see for this would be a neuro-ophthalmologist who can rule out other causes and recommend a course of treatment.

your other symptoms could be from stress, but you should have a physical exam by your doctor to look for other problems.

can eye twitching be related to trigeminal neuralgia? i have tn but i'm noticing more twitching than ever on one side of my face, not just pain.

Twitching can be: due to pain.  Trigeminal neuralgia produces severe multiple episodes of facial pain.  Often muscle twitching can be seen as a result of the pain, including the muscles of the eyelid.  There are other causes of blepharospasm, but with TG most likely cause. If symptoms worsen or change see your doctor.

See Neurologist: Sounds like your son had a seizure.  It also sounds like he had a lot of tests, some not done in emergency room (EEG, sleep study).  The doctor who tested him or a neurologist in your area should discuss the findings and help you decide what is wrong and what to do.  Sometimes tests reported "normal" can tell us things.  To find a neurologist, call your local hospital or medical society.
