Dialysis: Dialysis should always discussed with the nephrologist in charge of your uncle's kidney condition. The risks and benefits of hemodialysis versus peritoneal dialysis versus no dialysis should be weighed thoroughly. His primary care physician may as well be involved in this discussion as goals of care are to be discussed. While dialysis may prolong life, it significantly reduces quality of life.

my son was in the shower & some how managed to bump his head on the tub spout a couple days ago. today its still tender and it feels like theres a pea size bump should i be concerned? hes been putting ice on & off

: It can sometimes take a week or two to recover from a severe bout of viral gastroenteritis or norovirus. Be sure to drink plenty of liquids and eat as well as you can. If you are not better within another week,  or if you are getting worse again, you should return to see your doctor. Good luck.

If : If the medication is treating other symptoms effectively, and you are experiencing some itching that is tolerable, then it should be ok. Nevertheless, itching is a sign of an allergic reaction. It is prudent to let your doctor know that this medication is causing an itch. Also look for other signs of allergic reaction such as hives, rash, swelling of the mouth and throat and redness. Let your doctor know about the itching, as he/she can prescribe something to remedy that.

Several ways: First, be checked to see if ongoing pain is not do to something that was not addressed, or not fully addressed by surgery or whether you failed to heal the fusion.  Rarely, in males especially, a solid posterior fusion does not always address pain from a  disc that can still bear load & cause pain if no interbody fusion.  Adjacent segments should be checked.  Pain management may help - spinal stim.
