Normal aging change: It is normal in men for the hair of the eyebrows, ears, and nose to become longer and coarser with age.  It is likely that there will be more long eyebrow hairs as a person ages. The exact reason for this is not known, but other normal aging changes include graying, hair loss, and thinning of hair. Much of this is genetically determined and not modifiable by diet, etc.

No: There would be no scientific explanation that I am aware of why baby toothpaste would cause hair to grow faster.

Need more info: It would help to be able to see you, take a detailed history, physical examination, and may be lab tests to assess the condition. Thyroid deficiency can cause abnormal hair growth. It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Hair growth: Hair goes through different stages of growth thus regrowth at variable rates. Diet stress and other factors can alter this growth such as laser treatments and topical applied agents ( latisse, (bimatoprost) depilatories, etc).

See a dermatologist: Vaseline won't help the hairs grow any faster.  The cause of the hair changes needs to be addressed.  See a dermatologist to help find the reason behind your brows being uneven.  Causes such as eyebrow alopecia areata can be treated with various methods, but other underlying causes should be excluded.

Eyebrow: I would use eyebrow pencil till it comes back. How long?  Very individual.

Castor oil in preg: Castor oil has traditionally been used in pregnancy as a by-mouth supplement to help stimulate labor.  There is no good study to show what happens when you apply castor oil topically.  It might start contractions, so it should probably be avoided.  Eyebrow pencil is safe to use in pregnancy - start there :).

Rogaine, (minoxidil) Propecia: The only two hair growth products currently on the market with real clinical data to support their use are rogaine (minoxidil) (topical) and Propecia (oral). They work by different mechanisms, so I have my patients use both. Rogaine (minoxidil) is otc, Propecia requires a prescription. The downside is that insurance seldom pays for either one; but Propecia is about to go generic, which should lower the price.

Scalp lesions: There are many causes of bumps on the scalp and you should definitely see a dermatologist for this problem. It is possible that these are actually pilar cysts, and that is a hereditary problem. But i cannot tell you for sure what's going on because i cannot see the lesions. See you dermatologist!
