Yellow eyes: Yellowing of the eyes can be caused by chronic sunlight exposure.  This causes degenerative changes in those parts of the white of the eye which are most exposed to the sun.  If the eyes are diffusely yellow, then it could be caused by jaundice and should be evaluated by your medical doctor.

They are called pinguecula and by itself they are nothing to worry about.  Protect your eyes with 100% uv block sun glasses so they do not get inflamed & progress to pterygium (growth over cornea). Get your eyes examined by an eye md every 4 years.
