Facial pain: This sounds like you may be having sinus pressure. There can be blockage of the sinus passages from mucous congestion the can lead to pressure in various places around the face causing headache. If you lean forward and this pressure/headache worsens, it often means the sinuses are involved.

Need seen, xray: Your concerns are legitimate, but what has most likely happened isn't that the sinus has broken through the bone, but it may have intensified, perhaps because it was inadequetly treated.  Other things can cause pain over the bone, but you need either xray or ct scan of your sinuses.
