Stay cool: Keeping the skin cool and using mild lotions on the skin is a good start.  There are other skin conditions that can be confused with a "heat rash" and your should be evaluated by your dermatologist.

Cool and dry: Try any of the various powders like gold bond or cornstarch to keep everything cool and dry.

I would not: At 1 mo it is more likely a temporary condition called baby acne triggered by hormones that came over during pregnancy. It will self heal if you keep it clean &amp; leave it alone. Calamine is an excessively  drying agent that I would never put on a young babies skin.

i have this small hole on my bikini line (inner left thigh) and it doesnt hurt. i thought it came from a bad heat rash and i had it on both sides but the right side healed easily. the left i just cant get it to heal. i keep it clean the best i can?

Possible cyst: Sometimes a draining cyst can form in this area. It might be an enlarged pore that can secrete either clear fluid or pus. Sometimes this stems from waxing this area and is due to a disruption of a hair follicle. See dermatologist for eval and possible tx

Heat rash: Here are a few suggestions assuming the rash is a heat rash. 1. run a fan by the bed. 2. shower or bath before and after sleeping to minimize the rash. 3. run you air conditioner at a lower temp. 4. if in a house move sleeping to the basement where it is cooler. 5  consider sleeping in the nude if appropriate for child's age.   There is no med to prevent heat rash.

COVID 19 concerns:  This could be from a  number of causes. It doesn't sound particularly suspicious for COVID 19. Monitor for other symptoms. COVID 19 Sx's may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

May not be allergy: You don't really describe the original rash and don't mention itching.  You also have other issues. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) may cause abdominal pain and diarrhea. Try an anti-histamine such as fexofenadine (allegra) or Loratadine (claritin, alavert). I don't suggest Cetirizine (zyrtec) or Diphenhydramine (benadryl), because they may worsen constipation. If no better in 2 days, see  your  physician.

i get heat rash or chafed between my legs on my inner thighs so bad i can hardly walk. how do i prevent this from happening?

Chafing: Skin chafing should be treated, so don't ignore it. Gently clean the chafed area with water and dry it thoroughly. After cleaning the area, apply a substance like petroleum jelly or hydrocortisone. If the area is very painful, swollen, bleeding, or crusted, your health care provider may recommend a stronger topical steroid. Zeasorb powder helps prevent chafing and is otc.
