Ibuprofen: It depends on whether you are going to get it repaired or not. You may have a tear. I would take ibuprofen. You could opiate pain relievers, however I do not recommend them long term, or without a clearly defined endpoint in sight. You could end up with a far worse problem than rotator cuff pain.

Tonsillitis: It would be worthwhile to know the reason you are having pain with your tonsillitis. More than likely youhave a viral infection in which case you can gargle with saltwater, mouthwash, peroxide or other solutions. As a last resort you can ask your doctor for liquid Lidocaine for pain relief.

Unrelated: aspelone (prednisolone) is an anti-inflammatory drug, a steroid, not meant to be used for fever, and should be used under doctor's supervision, best wishes

Tramadol: Tramadol is weaker. It is not a narcotic -the implication of this word is illegality. It does have an opioid effect like morphine but its a small effect. Its main mechanism of action is through serotonin pathways.

Nitrates/tylenol: Eds pts should avoid nitrates when using eds drugs such as viagra. Children are usually given tylenol (acetaminophen) based on safety over many years. However all forms of analgesics can be use in children  depending on the circumstance. All doses will need adjustment.
