Tonsillitis: It would be worthwhile to know the reason you are having pain with your tonsillitis. More than likely youhave a viral infection in which case you can gargle with saltwater, mouthwash, peroxide or other solutions. As a last resort you can ask your doctor for liquid Lidocaine for pain relief.
