know that the navicular has a limited blood supply. So, healing following stress fracture takes at least 6 weeks, probably longer if you're bearing weight. A sports orthopedic consultation is in order.

FOOT BONE: With a lot of exercise in ballet dancing and foot position, the bone can be heightened to achieved the support needed in standing.

i am experiencing a cold and wet sensation in my left calf. have also been experiencing pain in back of knee. foot bone issues as well. why the cold?

Sensations vary: If there is swelling not related to infection, it can reduce blood supply to the area and blood keeps the temp up to normal - when it's less, the area gets cooler. Massage or rubbing gently can sometimes bring blood in to warm it up. See a Dr for physical therapy referral and Rx devices if possible. Problems of this sort can influence other systems and are worth treating!

Foot bone: Inserts for shoes help the navicular bone because the arch is effected by this bone.  Cuneiform not as important and bracing is usually not a problem.

See a podiatrist.: If rest and a reduction in activity didn't alleviate your pain and symptoms, it may be time to see a foot doctor. Find a local podiatrist and get checked out: it may be a tendinitis, or stress fracture, or as simple as flat feet that need arch supports!

Either: You should see a podiatrist if you have foot or ankle problems. Both podiatrists and orthopedists take care of problems dealing with the bones. The difference between the two is that the orthopedic surgeon treats all the bones of the human body and the podiatrist specializes in the bones of the foot and ankle.

Depends: If the bump is hard usually is a deformity of the underlying bone. If it is soft it may represent a cyst like a ganglion. Since it is on both sides it probably is a congenital anomaly. See an orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist for an evaluation.
