FOOT BONE: With a lot of exercise in ballet dancing and foot position, the bone can be heightened to achieved the support needed in standing.

Ballet Changes Foot: As you dance ballet, the emphasize is not in flattening your arch, but raising it. The boney structure of the instep can begin to change as the foot matures and a more prominent arch can be found.
