Or have a 4th gen (&quot;duo&quot;) test, conclusive any time 4 weeks or more after exposure. Best to see a doctor experienced in HIV prevention.

: HIV can live in any any bodily fluid. It is not transmitted in air but it is possible if droplets containing it enter body or blood. Life of HIV depends on it being able to invade ANY living cell in the body. Infectivity is the same whether saliva semen blood or other fluids

HIV is hard to Get: First: an HIV infection can be prevented. One has 72 hours to act after a possible high risk exposure.  No one in the world should miss this major advancement.
Second, the best test is the newer HIV dna or RNA tests. These will be 100% accurate 21 days after exposure.
