Heartburn: This is not unusual for someone in your situation. Weight loss will eventually help, but for now consider taking OTC Prilosec or liquid anti-acids. You also might consider taking TUMS before exercising.

Possible: Some pregnancies are very uncomplicated and depending upon the woman's general health, stamina, and abilities and the requirements of the work place, she may be able to return to work.  This would require a discussion with her obstetrician, her employer, hr, and consideration of child bonding and care.  This should  all be discussed prior to delivery with all concerned and very carefully.

If Rx fails-surgery: We do everything not to operate especially in the post partum period    but if long standing drainage-infection- drainage-- abscesses  we will make a circumareolar incision and tie off the ducts under the nipple and remove all surrounding inflammatory tissue.

When ready : After a vaginal delivery you may resume these activities when you feel comfortable. There is no medical reason to delay.

Maybe: We know in medicine never to use the terms always and never. Septic shock can certainly kill a person but that person can also survive with treatment. Whether or not any future reproduction is possible will depend on any complications during the initial sepsis, need for removal of the body parts involved, etc. A blanket statement without knowing these factors cannot be made.

Review diet: Depending on what your definition of dieting is,  what and how you eat can determine about 70% of weight loss. In other words, restricting calories alone and not eating well or frequently enough may sabotage your metabolism and actually slow it down. Exercise is very important, but diet and adequate sleep will also have a big impact. Discuss this with your doctor, nutritionist, and/or trainer.

Yes: Pregnancy and the postpartum period place women at an increased risk for carpal tunnel syndrome. Swelling, fluid retention, and increased blood-volume can restrict and compress the medial nerve as it passes through the wrist—the carpal tunnel—and into the hand, causing pain in the hand, wrist and arm.
