Accepted Answer

No, tests reliable: If the blood pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant.  I am not sure what you mean by a "heavy" uterus.  Perhaps a uterus with fibroids or adenomyosis?  Either way, these conditions do not mask the laboratory diagnosis of pregnancy.

i have a regular 27day cycle. period lasts 2days light flow. does that mean my uterus lining is to thin. i ovulate every cycle confirmed by bloods. ?

Everything's normal: Regular ovulatory (cycles in which ovulations take place) menstrual cycles, a history of several pregnancy with a childbirth all indicate that the hormonal feedback cycle in that particular woman are fully intact as is the inner lining of the uterus. No reason to be concerned that the lining could be too thin.

i started clomid (clomiphene) at day 3 of light bleeding without the flow of blood,was this wrong,how my follicular phase,ovulation,uterus will  be affected?

Probably OK: If the time was right for your period then day three start is OK. If your periods were irregular and you known you were not pregnant - the bleeding may have just been BTB and starting the Clomid (clomiphene) would be OK.  The only time Clomid (clomiphene) would be a bad idea would be if you have already conceived or if you have ovulated within the last 24 hours and still could conceive.  We do not take Clomid (clomiphene) if pregnant.

hi. i'm 16 week pregnant.sometimes to get off, i squeeze my thighs hard and i orgasm. then i feel a sharp pain in left part of my uterus for a few seconds which comes and goes for 1 or 2 days can this decrease blood flow and oxygen levels of my baby?

: Actually quite the opposite. Studies have shown that orgasm can improve blood flow and oxygen levels to the fetus. The downside is that orgasm can also trigger labor in the 3rd trimester.

went for my 12 week scan. baby is healthy. however doppler scan showed high blood flow to uterus. doc prescribed 81mg aspirin. share some insight pls. im sceptical to take the medication. she mentioned risk of preeclampsia. ?

Aspirin in pregnancy: "Pre-eclampsia risk" mentioned as a reason for taking aspirin 81 mg in pregnancy is unclear, since aspirin can promote possible extension of bleeding episodes, and will not "prevent" pre-eclampsia.   Pregnancy in general is a hypercoagulable state, and aspirin is given sometimes to prevent blood clots, so your OB may have had other reasons for recommending it.

More details: I would ask for more details about the mass seen. Did it appear to be a fibroid? If so could it be removed hysteroscopically? Did it appear to be a polyp? These are important questions to ask. There are many options for menorrhagia. Your obgyn should be able to help you solve this common problem.

Menorrhagia: Heavy bleeding, or menorrhagia can be due to a variety of reasons.  Most common is hormonal.  Endometriosis can be a factor.  In addition, thyroid, pituitary glands, as well as weight (too thin/heavy), rarely vonwillebrand syndrome.  Not usual in someone at 19, a lesion such as a polyp or fibroid can cause as well.  Clots just mean excess blood.  May want to consider workup with gynecologist?

i took norethindrone for 10 day for uterus thickening.on the 3 day after stopping i had mense does this mean it work to thin the uterus? i have had heavy flow , blood clots and horrible cramp is this normal?

Yes: Progestin withdrawal (when stopping norethindrone) leads to shedding of the lining of the uterus. If the lining is thickened, the bleeding will be heavier and cramping may be worse than normal.

Typically no: Varicose veins are not typically linked to decreased blood flow to the uterus, a lack of sensation during intercourse or decreased libido. There are a variety of treatments for varicose veins. Consider seeing a specialist. A gynecologist can address the very complex issue of decreased libido with you as well.

About to have period: You may be about to start your period.  Before menopause, blood in the uterus is often normal.  If you are in menopause, you need to be further evaluated by the gyn, probably an endometrial biopsy.
