Exocrine glands.: Exocrine glands can "hyperactive" & produce unusual amounts of sweat. If you have already tried the "clinical strength" antiperspirants--and you probably have--then you need to visit your physician. There are prescription strength antiperspirants available if warranted. Also, believe it or not, Botox injections have been found useful in some patients. So, go to your doctor. Don't suffer any more.

Accepted Answer

Side effect: Increased perspiration is a known potential side effect of stimulants, which increase the drive of the sympathetic nervous system. Other potential related side effects can be increased blood pressure, heart rate, and GI motility.

You should bring this concern up with the prescribing doc. Perhaps a change in dose, change in drug, or new antiperspirant will be discussed.

Frustating problem!: There is a prescription antiperspirant available. I've noticed that people have variable results, though. Many possibilities: Depending on how long you've had each symptom, where you live, family history, the appearance of the rash, the type, duration, and frequency of the pain when you breath etc. There are many possible diagnosis.  Some of these are serious and difficult to treat some serious and easy to treat.  The presence of night sweats with enlarged lymph nodes plus chest pain means you need to see someone asap.

Consider Botox: Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be treated conventionally with aluminum chloride solution.  The key is to apply the aluminum chloride solution properly by applying to dry affected skin at night before bedtime and then shower as usual in the morning.  If fails, then see your doctor for alternative options such as oral Robinul (glycopyrrolate) or Botox injections.
