The : The volume increase from sculptra injections can't be reversed!

the good news is the liklihood this would ever be necessary is extremely remote.  The increase in volume is very gradual and usually 2-4 treatments are required to give the eqivalent increase of a small cheek implant.  Each treatment requires about 6 weeks to completely stimulate the collagen increase.   Most patients wish they had slightly more increase, not less.

Sculptra is a reliable product which gives consistent results when performed by an experience plastic surgeon!

Sculptra: Sculptra is an injectable filler consisting of poly L-lactic acid. It's FDA approved for injection in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines around the mouth. Compared to traditional hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers (such as Juvederm), Sculptra can be longer lasting, but it's not reversible with hyaluronidase like Juvederm. So try the HAs first and then move on to Sculptra if you like the result

Mostly facial: sculptura is used as a facial filler. Not yet approved by the FDA for applications in the feet for augmentation.

The : The downtime after sculptra is minimal.  You might get some minor bruising because of the injections and some minor discomfort.  I suggest having at least a week to recover, because you want those cruise pictures to look good!

Brain aneurism: With imminent surgery for a brain aneurism, i would not recommend these procedures because of possible side effects.

are botox and fillers for you face safe to use? are they not absorbed by your body?

Accepted Answer

They are safe: Botox is not absorbed but binds to the nerve-muscle junction to decrease muscle contraction and prevent wrinkle formation. It lasts 3 mo before your body makes new nerve-muscle connections to restore muscle activity. Most fillers are made of naturally occurring inorganic parts your body. These are the supporting structures around your cells. They are absorbed over time and are therefore temporary.

Anyone can inject: It depends on the state in which you practice, however, fillers typically need to be injected under the supervision of physician, as only physicians can order them.  If you feel comfortable with your injector, be it a nurse practitioner, pa, or physician, you should be ok.  I would make sure to see some representative before and after pics or a video of the injector working before going to them.

Fillers to face: Fillers are a variety of materials that can be injected either into or under the skin to make an area, like the face or lips, look fuller. Most are temporary and very safe.

Facial ; Fat Fillers: Typically a series of injections are performed as an office procedure. If tat is used then it would first be removed by liposuction from an unwanted area.
