Arabic means a person can trace her ancestry to people originally from the Arabian peninsula, regardless of religion.

Genetics: different ethnic groups and races had grown up together facing some common challenges and advantages together. They had evolved in these common circumstances together for a long time. This means, their genetics have developed over thousands of years to cater to these macro and micro factors. In nature you always give something to take something.

Geneology: Most public librarians are used to this question and can help you find the proper resources on line to trace your ancestry.  The internet has been a marvelous resource for this type of research.  Anything about your family history that can fill in the gaps is helpful and some of your relatives can be helpful.

Ethics: Because reasonable people do not always agree on the ethics. For many people it is either black/white, yes/no - these people obviously will not agree with the other point of view. Many others have conflicts internally about the ethics of right vs. Wrong.
