See another doc.: Pictures don't always allow diagnosis because it can be very difficult to take a good medical grade photograph. What you are describing sounds like an allergic hypersensitivity reaction. You may need a diagnostic test called patch testing which can be performed in a dermatology office. If you can determine what is causing the reaction, you can avoid that substance and thus no rash.

i have a very itchy rashes all over my body. my previous doctor gave me medrol dose pack 4mg for 5 days assuming its allergy but i finished the medication and the rashes spreaded more and its so itchy that i cannot control.  is it scabies?

Scabies: It might be scabies. You should see a Dr to diagnose the rash and give you a prescription for the appropriate medication. Scabies is treated with a prescription cream that you apply at bedtime and leave on overnight, washing it off in the morning. All clothes, sheets, towels will have to be washed and dried in high heat to kill the parasite. All members of your household should be treated.

Avoid the food: The best current treatment for food allergies is avoiding that particular food.  After avoidance, antihistamines can decrease itching associated with food allergies.  The use of steroid creams or ointments may help, but should be monitored by a physician. An allergist can assist in identifying the specific food trigger.

Yes: and in the case of dry skin, one may see small raised bumps especially at the extremities. These will often be prevented by using a moisturizer with 3 minutes after bathing. Multiple: How long does the rash last after you got out of the sun?   Do you have the same issues after exercise? The problem can be due to what is called cholinergic urticaria which usually occurs during the cooling off period after an increase in core body temperature (hot shower, sun, exercise, stress etc). If this is what you are experiencing, then taking an antihistamine prior to the exposure may work.

i have allergy, probably to ponstan 500. the skin rash is nearly gone after 5 days, but now i start to have really bad rashes. what should i do?

Something else?: If the rash improved without treatment only to return a few days after (your dates were not defined), then the problem may be from something other than the drug implicated.  If the rash was treated and returned after the treatment was stopped, then the rash (if due to the drug) may last for 2-3 weeks.
