In addition, the patient may have bowel or bladder incontinence, or leg numbness or weakness (spinal abscess).  If the abscess is in the brain, they may c/o headache, lethargy, n/v, fever and neck stiffness.

Antibiotics are : Sometimes used but the main treatment is incision and drainage. I recommend soaking bottom in warm water which helps with pain and discomfort.
