Rheumatologist: I recommend an evaluation by a rheumatologist for diagnosis and treatment.  People who have taken fluoroquinalone antibiotics like ciprofloxacin or levaquin have had problems with tendonitis and Achilles rupture.

bloodwork came back normal for rheumatoid factors. experiencing joint pain in knees, ankles, achilles, and arm. what should be my next step?

CRP!: The CRP test will tell you have inflammation!  you nay need to see a specialist in rheumatology! patients with a negative rf, should have a ccp antibody run. I suspect you have spondyloarthritis, not rheumatoid arthritis. A form of spondylitis is most suspect.

what type of exercise(s) can i do for my tennis elbow to strengthen it?

The hammer exercise: An exercise that is effective in strengthening tennis elbow is the "hammer" exercise.  With your elbow bent at 90 degrees and forearm parallel to the floor, hold in your hand the end of the handle of a hammer (or tennis racket). Rotate your forearm and wrist so that the hammer head forms an arc from left to right and back again. Do this several times a day to strengthen the brachioradialis muscle.

Itch: It might be eczema, contact dermatitis or skin infection. Please consult a physician if the problem persists.

my daughter had what looked like a bite on her elbow, now its spread to small red splotches on her elbow. what could this be?

Accepted Answer

Bite on elbow: I would take her to the emergency department or at the very least an urgent care.  She could be having a reaction to the bite or a cellulitis.

i turned around and i accidentally elbowed my 1 month old son while he was asleep should i be worried hes being responsive and whatnot?

: You should not be alarmed because your baby seemed not hurt by your elbow.
Children are somewhat protected by nature well and that's why some babies fell from bed to ground but they do not sustain any significant injury.

i m continuing my gym since 1.5 yrs. now i m getting small bulging s between shoulder & elbow. i fell it like a nerve bundled up.? whts ths?

Possible biceps tear: I would be concerned that you may have injured the long head of your biceps?
I would check this out with an orhtopedic exam and possible MRI because if you did
there is a relatively short time frame to repair
it
if is is only a muscle injury or spasm, it will
probably heal over 4-6 weeks.

Acupuncture: Whenever I do acupuncture  for tennis elbow - the results always knock my patients and i off our feet.  Excellent results with either kb1 (large needle into interosseous membrane of forearm) or auricular (ear) acupuncture.

RICE!: Rest, ice, compression (ace wrap), elevation.  Also add an NSAID like ibuprofen.  If the pain continues see a physician.
