Hematology: Eosinophils are usually elevated when there is an allergic reaction in the body and with certain infections.   When the offending allergen or infection is removed the count should go down.  On occasion some patients have a persistently elevated value.  Your pmd would need to evaluate that further.

Not enough informati: I would recommend using one of the consult types we offer so we can get more information. As a general answer TB can coexist with a malignant pleural effusion. If a person has ever been PPD positive or known to of been exposed to TB any time in their life before starting chemotherapy they may be treated for TB. The eosinophils present could represent the malignancy, infection, allergy or worms

Need to investigate: Low white blood cell count can be due to many reasons, none of those is good, and the patient needs to be investigated to determine the cause. Some may be as simple as vitamin deficiency others are as sever as bone marrow failure. Please discuss the matter with your doctor.

Yes it could be: Being three days after surgery the blood count could be high, the temperature also acceptable. 
The most important thing we should monitor is temperature and how the knee progressing, if the tem start to shoot up and have inflammation around the surgery site and have more pain than usual we should worry, also we always keep them on antibiotic for the three days after surgery. Good luck.
