i have a 4 month old and he has visible scalp veins on both sides of his head they arent really noticeable unless he is crying is this normal or a concern also he is mixed race (black and white) he is smiling and giggling like a normal baby also?

: I consider this  normal variation. As the kid gets older the skin will thicken and the veins become less prominent. We actually use these head veins as IV access points whin infants with tiny veins need IVs inserted for treatment.

pulsating pain in left and backside of head. feels like one of the veins running in my head is aching. pain is not constant but comes after and goes. it also hurts when i to touch my scalp with my fingers. i don't have any tension or vision issues.

i itch over whole body and on scalp, sometimes over veins, like ankles, feet and legs. or just over outside knees and elbows... also on my scalp. i don't have a rash or use medicine. i don't use any body lotions or fabric softeners. about a year now?

Unlikely!: Although one would expect some tenderness at the site of a injured blood vessel, it should remain superficial and not cause any pain in the head proper. If your CT was of the head and is Neg. and the headaches continue, one should follow up with their physician and /or see a Neurologist. Good luck.

i burned the side of my head with my straightening iron it was not my forehead it was like on my scalp above my temple did i hurt blood vessels?

Unlikely, I would : suggest you apply some aquaphor or vaniply to area, and use cool compresses or ice water to stop burning sensation. Then see derm if any blisters appear. and do not pick scab. Vessles are much deeper than superficial burns.

Positional change.: The veins in the face just as the veins in the rest of the body change in size depending on changes in position as well as changes in levels of hydration and changes in pressure in the chest and abdominal cavity. In the face, the veins decrease with standing and increase with lying down.  Straining or laughing increase the the pressure in the chest which can increase the size of the facial veins.

May be normal anatom: Large veins are not uncommon under the tongue. To check out your veins requires someone with experience to look at you--usually a dentist.

when a varicocele vein is embolized, can the same vein below the embolization coil continue to try to pass blood back to the heart?  can this cause the vein to remain engorged and for how long?

Varicocele: In general, the closer to the testicle that a varicocele procedure is performed, the greater chance for success. Embolization may be minimally invasive but it has a higher rate of recurrence than other techniques. If you are not satisfied with the result, I would consult a urologist who performs subinguinal varicocelectomy using a surgical microscope.
