Neuropathy most: Likely, which could be acute or chronic. More info on location, past medical history and how long it has been going on will be helpful.

That tingling is: Actually a release of a neurochemical in your brain that causes that feeling of tingling due to mild hypersensitization with its release. This is the same thing we feel when we get that "chill" from a thought or a scare but it is noted with a positive connotation instead of a negative one. Nothing to worry about, but amazing physiology!

i have paresthesia in my head after a head injury another symptom i have is little emotional response and when i do feel emotions i feel a electric tingling feeling all over my head. any idea of what this can be ? had mri and came back negative

Normal: Glad your MRI was normal.  This means no major structural problems.  However,  the brain is a massively electrical structure and head injury disrupts your wires.  Expect symptoms for a week or two.  Other variables to consider would be exposure to EMF and perhaps electrolyte problem.  Low magnesium common.

: Several things come to mind. One seems more likely, psychosomatic, your symptoms are based on emotions alone, there is no physical reason for the problem.  You may have a neurological problem with the finger. See a doctor.

Yes: Stress can produce tingling especially with hyperventilation- however there could be an underlying neurologic condition - check with your M.D.

Yes, in some cases.: Overuse of the facial muscles from clenching and grinding can sometimes cause facial tingliness.  Proper diagnosis is very import to make sure trigeminal neurolgia is ruled out.

Severe anxiety: Or a more serious problem. See a physician for a physical exam and appropriate work up. A neurologist would be most helpful.

Sciatica: Usually when people feel tingling or burning especially in the back there is a  concern for nerve impingement or involvement. Therefore it is appropriate to see a sports medicine doctor or PMR physician for a complete examination and consideration of a MRI and nerve test. There are local injections or medications some of which may be topical that can help. Acupuncture and PT may be a consideration
