hi i recently had testing do to a miscarriage. my protein c level was elevated at a value of 202. also my anti thrombin 3 was elevated value 126. what if any underlying conditions will cause elevation. i have been told to follow up with a rheumatologist.

Likely wait,,,: Likely, the best chance would be to wait until you cycle again to try to get pregnant as the ovary has to get back to releasing eggs for pregnancy to occur.  The HCG levels would likely come down by that time also.  Good luck.

High ptt: There are many causes of miscarriage. A high ptt is something that should be investigated among other things for general health, not only miscarriage. The reasons for high PTT can be autoimmune disease, liver disease, including hepatitis or other liver infection or infestation. This is something that should be looked at by your doctor or a hematologist.

Several issues: Was she truly pregnant?
Did she have then an unusual or heavy period or pass some tissue.
More cramping with the passage.
Is she for sure not pregnant now?
Clarity would come from OB exam and perhaps ultrasound.
Miscarriage is not uncommon and can be variable by timing and symptoms.

See your doctor: You need to speak to your Ob/Gyn doctor. There are many reasons you could be miscarrying. Some are treatable some aren't. But you would need a physical exam and testing by your doctor.

See below: There would be cramping and the passage of the products of conception.  The presentation is variable, however.  See your doctor.  He/she will do an ultrasound and/or a series of blood tests to determine the viability of the pregnancy.
