2nd opinion: It is unusual to have a reactive lymph node solely at one elbow and certainly not lasting for over a year.   You need to get a 2nd opinion to find out the cause especially since the lump has been growing in size.

Ultrasound 4 LN. : You can find a lymph node by ultrasound, and if you’re lucky you can find some qualities that might suggest whether this lymph node is benign or malignant. But those findings are not absolute.  If question exists as to benignity or malignancy, biopsy should be done.

Injury or infection: Lymph nodes usually swell in response to an injury or infection. A lymph node in the area you describe would most likely be due to an injury or infection in your forearm or hand. Swollen lymph node(s) are usually a sign that the body is taking care of itself and not reason for concern.  In very rare cases, a swollen node may be a sign of a more serious condition. If it persists, get it checked out

Need an examination: You need a doctor to examine you and confirm if you have enlarged lymph nodes and try to find the cause. It can be due to some infections. Sometimes it is cancer of the lymph glands called lymphoma. Only your doctor can help you..So go and see him/her. If you do not have a doctor you need to find one soon.

Generalized lymph nodes are not uncommon with total body aches, but definitely speak with your physician.

Lymph node swelling: This location of lymph node swelling typically associates with an inflammatory reaction at the elbow or below, in your forearm or hand. Did you have an IV in your arm or hand? Flomax (tamsulosin) could lead to an allergic reaction but I think you would see other evidences. Are nails and fingers irritated? Do you have a rash elsewhere?

Probably not: Lymph nodes that remain less than 1 cm are usually of no concern for malignancy.  If they grow beyond 1cm and persist beyond a few weeks, you should have them checked by a health care professional.

Get examined: make sure that any mass under the arm is evaluated for infection. You must be examined.
